In a local campaign like this, we’re not spending money on TV ads, or renting stadiums for campaign rallies, so we don’t spend time doing campaign fundraisers. Still, it’s nice to have just a few hundred bucks in the bank, allowing us to make sure we can get literature to voters’ doors, get lawn signs in peoples’ yards, and have a few dollars in reserve to reach last minute deciders in the final days before the election.
