On Election Night in 2018, I hosted a pizza party for friends, family, and supporters at Mansetti’s Pizza & Pasta (3999 Rice Street) and it was so much fun, I’m doing it again this year! This year should be even more fun, as Councilmember John Doan and Councilmember Sue Denkinger are co-hosting with me. We have reached out to Alicia Baraga and Rose Solomonson to let them know they and their supporters are welcome as well. No matter who ends up with the most votes at the end of the night, we just want this to be a celebration of democracy and a show of appreciation for how hard everyone has worked to support their chosen candidates. Mansetti’s normally closes at 8pm on Tuesdays, but Dave has kindly agreed to stay open until at least 10pm so we can have some fun and togetherness while we await returns. A pizza and pasta buffet, including soft drinks, will be provided, we are suggesting a donation of $10/person or what you can pay. Beer and wine is available for purchase at your own expense, please be responsible. John, Sue, and I plan to be there by 7:30pm, please join us whenever you can!
